In May James participated in the McLean Homeschool Group annual pageant which is a night of student performances including musical, dramatic and literary readings. James and Shannon presented his essay on Pilgrim’s Progress and he also had a part in a very funny skit!  (Both are pictured above). He is writing a blog post describing his pageant experience but it is not finished yet.

And last but not least James was a groomsmen again, this time for his brother Joe. It was amazing to see what a difference a year has made in his maturity and bearing.  He has worked hard on his self control and it really shows. When I write I am always thinking about those readers who have children with autism. I want you to know that we never dreamed James would be living the life he is now and it just gets better and better.

  1. I LOVE it! What a fabulous picture of him and Jane from the wedding! And I was thinking just today, as I saw him, how handsome I think he has become! I am so so excited for his progress and it brings me so much joy to see it in his face! He was fabulous at the pageant and the skit was a total stitch! And he did GREAT! Woohoo! Go James!

  2. Praise God from whom all blessings come. The best is yet to be!!!! More wonderful examples from the deep inner life of James will come forth in time. God is so good!!!

  3. Wow! I am simply amazed at James progress. All thanks to God.
I pray that we will see the same. I know we will. James has given me so much hope for my son.
A blessing in the midst of trials. It makes the days more doable, the nights more lovable.
I am forever in your debt James– you have been a pioneer for my son..and for others. May God continue to grant you the ability to overcome your trials– that is my prayer.
    Tara
